About Fossick & Find:

Opened in the 1970’s, the store is currently in George Street, with a history in several other locations in Morwell. Staffed entirely by volunteers, with funds administered by the Parish Council, all profits remain in the local area.

The store features a change room and is pram friendly and wheelchair accessible.

How Fossick & Find works:

Donation bins in Maffra, Sale, Heyfield, Rosedale, Yinnar and Morwell are collected every Monday by volunteer drivers. The donations are evaluated by a manager, then sorted into categories. Clothing is sold via a colour coding price system. Any items remaining after two months go into the 50-cent bin. Customers can also purchase $3 or $2 bags to fill with these clothes.

Window displays are regularly refreshed by expert volunteers.

How Fossick & Find supports the community:

As well as providing for St Mary’s, the op shop supports local welfare agencies, such as Anglicare, Quantum, Latrobe Community Health and the Victorian Aboriginal Child-care Agency, by providing goods to needy clients, who have been referred. 

Every year, special gift packs are made up for residents of Baptcare St Hilary’s Community.
